Scripps College’s signature public events program, known as Scripps Presents put on an electrifying ABBA tribute concert as part of their Family Weekend events at 1 p.m. on Saturday, located on the school’s Bowling Green Lawn.

Basement Dwellers Comedy Show was back in action on Friday with a sold out show coming to guests live at The Fret House in Covina, California.
The event took place from 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and had about 100 people in attendance. Abundant amounts of comedic talent were ready to make their mark on the guests and make them laugh incessantly throughout the night. The Leopards narrowly lost the second game of their doubleheader, against the Redlands Bulldogs on Saturday at Campus West, 6-5.

The University of La Verne’s Office of Religious and Spiritual Life hosted a Zionism discussion with Jonathan Reed, professor of philosophy and religion, and Jason Neidleman,  professor of political science, in the Ludwick Center last week.

Grace Harrison, senior digital media major, has created a TV sports talk show for her senior project, combining her passions for TV and sports.  
“The Curveball” focuses on baseball: the major leagues, the Leopards and the Southern California Intercollegiate Athletic Conference, or SCIAC.
